The popular Porsche Cayenne gives you the distinction and solid performance that you expect from a Porsche as well as the functionality of a midsize SUV. This luxury model ventured into its third generation in 2019, and both the 2023 and 2024 model years are included in this generation. However, the 2024 Cayenne shows off improvements to the interior, exterior, and performance equipment. What should you know about the Cayenne before making your next SUV purchase?

In 2024, the Porsche Cayenne introduces an updated suspension system to enhance its smoothness and handling. The three powertrains available in 2024 were also available in 2023. These include a 348-horsepower, turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine and a 468-horsepower turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 option. Both model years also offer a plug-in hybrid system. This system pairs an electric motor with the base V6 engine to generate 463 total horsepower. Select trims are also available with multiple drive modes, an adaptive air suspension system, rear steering, and a few other upgrades.

The 2024 Porsche Cayenne displays the gorgeous results of an exterior refresh. At the front, the 2024 Cayenne has larger, triangular headlights with four distinctive bulbs embedded in them. The grille is taller, but it retains its horizontal bars and wraparound design. Across the sides, the 2024 Cayenne shows off a more rigorous definition. Both model years are offered with 20-inch wheels or larger, adaptive headlights, a hands-free liftgate, and a panoramic sunroof.

In 2023, the Cayenne is available in nine trim levels, and this changes to three trims for the 2024 model year. While some features have shifted between the remaining trim levels, an updated digital instrumentation panel is added for 2024. Other features available in both model years are road sign assistance, forward collision mitigation, massaging and heated front seats, a premium Burmester audio system, a night vision camera, front seat memory settings, a head-up display, heated rear seats, smart device app connections, adaptive cruise control and numerous other elite features.

With stunning differences between the 2023 and 2024 Porsche Cayenne crossovers, a deeper look is in order. Visit Porsche Milwaukee North soon to continue learning about the Cayenne with a test drive and a showroom tour.
