If you opt for the 2023 Porsche Macan, your crossover will have a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 261 horsepower under its hood. The Macan S puts out 375 horsepower from its V6, twin-turbo 2.9-liter engine. This trim also adds larger, 14-inch vented brakes in the front and a sport drive mode. Regardless of the Macan trim selected, this crossover benefits from all-wheel drive, paddle shifters, and a dual-clutch, seven-speed automatic transmission.
Appearance
The bold design of the Macan holds steady across both of these trim levels, but there is a minor difference in exterior equipment. The base 2023 Macan has adaptive LED headlights, heated and power-folding side mirrors, a power liftgate, rain-sensing wipers, and 19-inch wheels with all-season tires. The Macan S builds on this with 20-inch gray wheels. Overall, the Porsche Macan model is a standout with its large, black grille that wraps smoothly around the nose. It is accompanied by a tapered, smooth hood and teardrop-like headlights. A thick block of molding runs through the side doors. The Macan also displays a tapered roofline with a sharp descent through the rear window.

The 2023 Macan is smartly outfitted at the base level with keyless entry, partial leather seats with cloth inserts, heated front seats, a three-zone climate management system, a 10-speaker sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay, a navigation system, a 10.9-inch display screen, USB-C charging ports, parking sensors, lane departure, and forward collision avoidance. The Macan S offers all of these features, but its partial leather seats have simulated suede inserts.
