Performance

Three engine systems are available for the 2023 Macan. This begins with a 261-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder system. Higher trims have twin-turbo V6, 2.9-liter, 375-horsepower engine, and an upgraded variant that produces 434 horsepower. The top trim has a sport exhaust system, upgraded brakes, and an adaptive air suspension. For the Cayenne, there are six powertrains to choose from. At the base level, the turbo 3.0-liter V6 system produces 335 horsepower. The top-of-the-line Cayenne trim has a 541-horsepower, turbo 4.0-liter, V8 engine. Two hybrid powertrains are also available. The top Cayenne hybrid system is a turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine combined with an electric motor, and this unit offers 670 combined horsepower.

Appearance

The 2023 Macan has a compact size with the sweeping profile and rounded nose you expect from a Porsche. Its triangular headlights are subtly rounded and sit above a thick, curved grille that wraps around the nose. For added differentiation, the Macan has a raked rear window, crisp side accents, and a thick, molded element on the side doors. The 2023 Cayenne, on the other hand, has a taller, longer stance to accommodate three rows of seating in the cabin. It has comparable LED headlights with a wraparound grille. However, the Cayenne’s grille has three distinct sections. The black molding on the side panels is thinner and runs along the bottom of the vehicle.

Features

These premium crossovers are excitingly equipped with the latest technologies and luxurious finishes. In the Macan, you could find a 16-speaker Burmester sound system, automated parking, a surround-view camera, wireless smartphone charging, heated front and rear seats, launch control, leather material, parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and others. The Cayenne has all of these features, plus a few others. Its additional features are more speakers for the sound system, memory for the front seats, rear steering, more materials options, a panoramic sunroof or glass roof, a power liftgate, and others.
