What’s New for the 2024 Porsche Taycan?

In 2020, Porsche introduced the Taycan as its first all-electric vehicle. This sports sedan has been recognized for its excellent handling, performance, high-end materials, and features. While the Taycan’s appeal has expanded in recent years with periodic improvements, the 2024 Taycan is unchanged from the 2023 model year.

There are four powertrain systems available for the five trims. These begin with a one-motor system that moves the rear-wheels. It is offered in your choice of battery sizes and produces 321 horsepower. The other three powertrains are two-motor, all-wheel-drive systems. They put out 429 horsepower, 509 horsepower, and 616 horsepower. Depending on the Taycan trim you drive home, your sedan could come with a sport-tuned adaptive suspension, several drive modes, rear-wheel torque vectoring, rear-wheel steering, and larger brakes.

The Taycan’s style is defined by bold arches running over the profile and sporty ground clearance. The bottom of the side doors shows off descending definition lines, and the fenders have strong, smooth definition. The nose differs from other current Porsche models with its unique headlights and smaller grille. The headlights have a teardrop shape aligned with Porsche’s design language. However, they stand out with upper and lower ribbons of LED lighting and black molding streaming in two directions. The Taycan’s exterior features may include auto-dimming and heated side mirrors, up to 20-inch wheels, adaptive headlights, and a panoramic glass roof.

The Porsche Taycan’s trim levels grow increasingly impressive with more premium features as you progress up the line, and there are no changes to the availability of these features for the 2024 model year. The Taycan may be available with desired features like a night-vision camera, massaging front seats, heated seats, a four-zone auto climate management system, a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, blind-spot monitoring, either a Bose or Burmester premium sound system, forward collision mitigation, remote vehicle monitoring, a wireless device charging platform, a navigation system, a 16.8-inch display screen, and several more features.
