 What’s New for the 2023 Porsche Macan T?

The Macan is Porsche’s small, luxurious crossover SUV with unrelenting appeal and exciting capabilities. It has been evolving spectacularly across generational and mid-generational updates for years and introduces a new trim level for the 2023 model year. The Macan T sits above the base trim level in the lineup. While it shares many traits with the base option, the Macan T stands apart in critical areas.

Behind the wheel, the base Macan and the Macan T have the same capabilities. It draws 261 horsepower from a 2.0-liter turbo, four-cylinder engine, and this is paired with a dual-clutch seven-speed auto transmission. While it has an all-wheel drive layout as the other Macan trim levels have, it pushes more power to the back wheels for an elevated driving experience. It also has a Sport Chrono Package and a more advanced suspension system.

The Macan T is almost identical to the base Macan on the exterior, with a few notable exceptions. It has the same swooping, aggressive profile as the other Macan trim levels. Its iconic look is brought to life by its large, triangular headlamps and its three-section, wraparound grille. For differentiation, the Macan T adds 20-inch wheels and Agate Gray paint.

Inside, the only difference you will spot between the base Macan and the Macan T is the Macan T’s sportier front seats. The other interior and safety features are unchanged. These desired features include wireless Apple CarPlay, front and rear charging ports, a three-zone climate management system, power-adjusting and heated front seats, leather material, touch functionality for the 10.9-inch display screen, and a great audio system. Lane departure warning, forward collision mitigation, and parking sensors round out the 2023 Porsche Macan T features.
