 What’s New for the 2021 Porsche Macan?

The Macan is Porsche’s compact luxury crossover SUV released in 2015, and it continues to be a first-generation version today. If you have fallen in love with last year’s Macan, you may be excited to discover that the 2021 Macan is mostly unchanged. In fact, the only update that has been made is the introduction of wireless Apple CarPlay as a standard feature for the new model year. At the base trim level, the Macan continues to draw power from a turbocharged four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine that produces 248 horsepower. You will find the engine mated with a seven-speed auto dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive in this and all other trims. Higher trim levels have more powerful engines. Some of these are a 348-horsepower, 3.0-liter V6 engine, and a 375-horsepower, 2.9-liter V6 engine.

The sporty exterior style of the Macan is unchanged, and it continues to have defined side panels with a dramatic slope down the hood and a tapered roof. The nose is relatively short and rounded, and its teardrop-shaped headlights perfectly accent the grille’s powerful, wraparound design. Higher-level trims have 19-inch wheels or larger and quad tailpipes. Inside, some or all of the 2021 Macan trims have power-adjusting and heated seats with leather and faux suede upholstery, a tri-zone climate control system, a 10.9-inch touch display screen, a navigation system, USB ports, a heated steering wheel, memory settings for the driver’s seat, a Bose or Burmester sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and other exciting features. The Macan’s many high-level safety features include rear and front parking sensors, a lane departure alert, a blind-spot monitor, a surround-view camera, and others.
